Angeline Premalatha is an Indian Foreign Service officer of the 2007 batch. Presently, she holds dual responsibilities at the Embassy of India in Beijing as the Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) and India's Permanent Representative to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Secretariat. Previously, she held key diplomatic posts in Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand (as Deputy Chief of Mission), and the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi.
She is a native of Chennai. She is married to S. Xavier Dhanaraj, an IPS officer.
