Vincent Mathias completed his B.Sc. from Mangalore University and Bachelor of Law from Mumbai University. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Velvin Group having businesses in Corrugation, Paper Bags, and Edible Oil.
He was the President of WICMA (Western Indian Corrugated Box Manufacturer’s Association) from 2011 to 2013. He also represents FCBM India (Federation of Corrugated Box Manufacturers) at an international level for the International Corrugated Cases Association.
He formed the Christian Chamber of Commerce & Industry to foster the economic growth of the community. In 2012, he was awarded the Shri George Fernandes Excellence Award for his contribution to social causes. In the year 2019 Velvin Paper Products, Kundaim, Goa – the flagship company of Velvin Group received the World Corrugated Award 2019 in Shanghai, China.
He joined Mr. John D’silva and his team to start Model Co-operative Bank and he continues to be a Director of the bank.
