Veronica Cornelio was a former Taluk Panchayat president and the present District Women Congress president. She was also the Chairperson of Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited.
Veronica Cornelio, who hails from Kemmannu, is actively involved in the field of social service for the past 20 years. She has served as one of the first woman presidents of Udupi Taluk Panchyat and has been an elected Taluk Panchayt member for the past 2 decades from Uppor and Padu Thonse electoral areas. She is currently the president of the district Mahila Congress wing. Recently, she was honoured with the prestigious district level Rajyothsava award.(Collected from public domain)
