Rt Revd Dr Paul Swarup is the 10th Bishop of the Diocese of Delhi (Church of North India-CNI). Bishop Paul has worked in the Diocese of Delhi since 1987. He has served in various parishes in Haryana, parts of UP, and Delhi.
He holds a PhD in Old Testament/Dead Sea Scrolls from the University of Cambridge. He is one of the fifteen members of the international team of translators, of the New International Version. He has written commentaries on Exodus, Proverbs, Jeremiah, and Lamentations and was also one of the Old Testament editors of the South Asia Bible Commentary. He is a well-known international scholar and has been a speaker at the Lambeth Conference in 2022. (Collected from the public domain)
