Sr Jacintha D'Souza started her career as a clinical instructor at Father Muller School of Nursing, Mangaluru. Later, she was promoted to the post of professor and principal at Father Muller College of Nursing till 2011.
She completed her BSc in nursing from Bangalore University in 1989 and secured the first rank. In 1994, she completed her MSc in nursing at Father Muller College of Nursing under Mangalore University. She has also obtained an MPhil. Nursing from MAHE, Manipal Deemed University in 2001 and secured first rank in the first year.
She was conferred with the state-level teacher’s award on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.
She has also helped many other institutions to set up Nursing institutions.
