Rev. Dionysius Vas SJ

Rev. Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ is the Provincial of the Karnataka Jesuit Province. He joined the Society of Jesus on June 20, 1981, and made his solemn profession on June 06, 2004. He served in different missions as the Director of the Pre-novitiate and Vocation Promoter, Parish Priest, Province Consultor, Novice Director, Superior of Bijapur Mission, and Rector of St Aloysius College, Mangalore, all of which he served with great dedication. He is the Chancellor of St. Joseph’s University Bangalore and St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangalore.
Born on 27 August 1963, Fr Dion acquired two master's degrees, in Sociology and Pastoral counseling. (Collected from the public domain)
