Rev. Archibald Gonsalves OCD

Fr Archibald Gonsalves, OCD was the former Provincial Superior of the Discalced Carmelites of the Karnataka-Goa Province. 
Archibald was born in Madanthyar near Beltangady on July 9, 1961. He joined the Carmelite Order, in the year 1979. He obtained his Master in Philosophy and Masters in English Literature from the Karnataka University. He pursued his higher studies in Moral Theology in Rome. Besides a master’s degree in Bioethics from the Gemelli Institute, he has a Licentiate and a Doctorate in Moral Theology from the Alfonsian Academy, Rome. After returning to India, he has been engaged in teaching Bio-Ethics and Moral Theology in various seminaries and institutes. He was also the rector of Pushpashrama, the Institute of Philosophy in Mysore.(Collected from the public domain)
