Major Gen. Elizabeth John has 37 years of experience in nursing service. Recipient of Florence Nightingale National Award for excellence and outstanding contribution to Nursing services in the defence by President Pranab Mukherjee presented on the occasion of International Nurses Day, at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 12th May 2016. She served as the Additional Director General of, the Military Nursing Service (MNS) in Delhi.
