Kranti Farias is the author of "The Christian Impact in South Kanara”, a book published by the Church History Association of India, Bombay.
She has been the vice president of the Church History Association of India (Western India Region); Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, Bombay; Bombay Local History Society etc.,
She is presently carrying on historical research, working on genetics along with the geneticists of the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad on Portuguese Jews of Goa of the sixteenth Century and trying to see a possible genetic link with the Catholics of Goa and Mangalore. She has lectured on Indian Christians and the Indian Jewish communities, in India and abroad. (Collected from the public domain)
