Dr. Santosh T. Soans is a renowned pediatrician in coastal Karnataka. He has published articles and presented many papers for journals and state and national conferences. He was the Guest Speaker at various IMA, IAP (Indian Academy of Pediatrics), CMEs, and Pedicon. He has published the book ‘Neonatal Drug Formulary`. Dr.Soans has been awarded the prestigious Honorary Degree `Fellow of Indian Academy of Pediatrics`(F.I.A.P) for the Year 2008 at the National Conference. Dr. Soans was the President of IAP in 2018. He is the Professor and Head of the Department of Pediatrics at AJIMS Mangalore. He is also the Chief of Neonatal & Pediatric Intensive Care Division AJHRC Mangalore.
He obtained his basic medical degree (MBBS) from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore from Mysore University in 1985. He completed his Post-Graduate training in Pediatrics at the same institution. * (Collected from the public domain)
