Dr. Rohan S Monis, a physician, is the Chief Administrative Medical Officer at Kanachur Hospital and Research Centre (A Unit of Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences, University Road, Natekal), Mangalore. He was also its founding member.
He is a trained Critical Care Physician and ACLS instructor and was the Deputy Head of Neuro Critical Care at Apollo Health City in Hyderabad. He is a health and wellness coach certified by the California Institute for Integral Studies. He is also a member of various organisations, such as Father Muller Charitable Institutions, Mangalore (Governing Board), Catholic Association of South Kanara(Vice President), and St. Aloysius Chapel Committee. He was the only doctor from Mangalore to be the Grand Award Jury Judge at the prestigious International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in the USA in 2019 and 2021 for the vertical Translational Medical Sciences. He is involved in the Rotary Club of Organ Donation International and the Indian Red Cross Society, Dakshina Kannada.
Born in Manipal, he had his early education in OOEHS, Dubai, and Brahmavar. He studied at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. As a multi-faceted physician, he is a good orator, medical illustrator, musician, healthcare enabler, and an advocate for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Organ Donation.
