Dr. Augustine F. Pinto, a graduate of the reputed Xavier’s College, Kolkata laid the foundation of Ryan Group in 1976. It is his commitment, austerity, and ambitious approach to school education that has made him one of the most admired figures in the contemporary education sector.
It began as a vision to completely change the educational picture in the country and to make qualitative education available to all.
Ryan Group handles a widespread network of 128 schools across 18 states in the country. It has over 2, 50,000 students and 14,000 teachers carrying its vision forward.
Without limiting the exposure, Ryan Group is working towards establishing its off-shore school campuses and has already a school in operation in the Middle East. The vision that started three decades earlier has now become one of the dire success stories of our times.
Dr Augustine F Pinto attributes divine inspiration and guidance behind the spirit of his vision. He was awarded the International Man of The Year Award by the International Biographical Center, Cambridge, UK for his contribution to the field of education. He has also received the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Award for Environment, keeping in mind his tremendous efforts to raise awareness about it.
