Arun Furtado, a resident of Madanthyar, is a Karnataka administrative officer. He has recently been appointed as the deputy secretary (administration) to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Earlier he had served as the additional director of the social welfare department (and also the director of Dr Babu Jagajeevanram research center in Bengaluru). Arun Furtado has previously worked as the social welfare officer in the Dakshina Kannada district.
