Anil Lobo is the Chairman of the MCC Bank Ltd. He was elected also for the second term in 2023. Under his chairmanship, the MCC bank witnessed a huge growth in its profit and expansion. He initiated various customer-friendly programs and policies which were lauded by the people wholeheartedly.
He was awarded the Sahakari Ratna Award for his all-round development of MCC Bank during his tenure. The award was presented to him at the valedictory function of the 70th anniversary of the All-India Co-operative Movement Week on 20-11-2023 in Vijayapura district.
In a press release, the managing director of Karnataka State Co-Operative Federation stated that the loyal leadership for the cooperative movement in Dakshina Kannada and reaching out to the people through the cooperative chain, has made Anil Lobo eligible for the award. Anil Lobo is the first individual from the Christian community to receive the coveted Award.
