Albert W. D’Souza has been a leading entrepreneur in the Printing Industry. He is the Managing Director of Printania Offset Pvt. Ltd. - a leading print house in India with an in-house computerized creative studio, process/repro house, full-fledged offset printing and binding facilities for commercial printing in Bombay
The sister concerns are Aldel Sales Corporation, Print Processors Pvt. Ltd., and Brisk Instrumentation Pvt. Ltd. He is the Chairman of Model Co-op Bank Ltd., and Vice Chairman of the Christian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bombay.
He is also a Nominated Member of the Catholic Council of India.
He is a member of the advisory body of the Technical & Professional Higher Education of the Archdiocesan Board of Education, Bombay, and the Diocese of Mangalore, Karnataka.
He was honored with the Rachana Foundation “Entrepreneur of The Year Award” in 2003, the Papal Award for Printing Entrepreneurship in March 2004,
Catholic Entrepreneur of Karnataka State Award in 2007.
In his dream to train the youth of modern times in technical skills and professional education, considering it a Movement, he has been involved in it by supporting the development of several Minority Technical Institutes run by the Christian Community in the country.
His desire to contribute personally to this cause resulted in the inception of the Aldel Education Trust in 2007 and the twin development of two institutes of Professional & Technical higher learning – namely St. John College of Engineering and Technology (SJCET) and St. John Institute of Pharmacy and Research (SJIPR).
