Hibi George Eden is an Indian politician from Ernakulam, Kerala and a member of the Indian National Congress. Hibi is the son of the late George Eden, a long-time member of Parliament from the Ernakulam constituency.
He was the general secretary of the Kerala Students Union (KSU) at Sacred Heart College, Thevara. He later became the president of KSU and the National Students' Union of India (NSUI). He became a member of the Legislative Assembly of Kerala from the Ernakulam constituency after winning the 2011 elections, making him the youngest member in the Assembly. In the 2019 Lok Sabha election, he contested from Ernakulam (Lok Sabha constituency) and won by a large margin. He also won the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He has been part of several Indian Parliamentary delegations to various countries and has presented his views at international forums.
He was born on 19 April 1983. He married Anna Linda, an anchor on a Malayalam television channel. He is a member of the Kerala Latin Catholic community and enjoys their support.
