Dr Tom Devasia

Dr Tom Devasia is a professor and unit head of the Department of Cardiology, Kasturba Medical College and Kasturba Hospital, Manipal.

He holds an MBBS from Kottayam Medical College and an MD (General Medicine) from Coimbatore Government Medical College. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI), and the European Society of Cardiology (FESC). 

Recently, he was conferred the prestigious Andreas Grüntzig Fellowship by the Academy of Cardiac Interventions, London, in recognition of his outstanding and sustained contributions to the field of interventional cardiology. The fellowship is awarded to clinicians who demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise, innovation, leadership, and a long-term commitment to advancing cardiovascular care.
